Since I was little, I’ve been a sensitive soul — deeply
attuned to my surroundings (and the unseen, too).
The slippery slope was that this attunement, for the sake of attachment, adapted into anxious anticipation — where my system would, for the sake of safety and survival, as it saw it, scan my surroundings to shape-shift accordingly.
This spiralled into survival strategies — perfectionism, people-pleasing, orthorexia, over-achievement — that “worked” on the surface but silently starved my soul.
Eventually, this became too much for my system, and so, it smartly shut the sensitivity down — slowly, but surely: severed from my soma, the source of my sovereignty.
My Survivor Self career began in the most conventional way: studying business at two of the best business schools globally, training as a corporate consultant, even preparing to follow in my father’s footsteps in law. I climbed the ladder I thought I was “supposed” to — but each step left me more of a shell of myself than before. I briefly lived the corporate path, until I reached rock bottom one day on a holiday in Bali and I quit my job on the phone to radically reclaim my life. My rooted remembrance began by first passionately pouring my heart and soul into conventional coaching in health and fitness first, followed by holistic health coaching to support women with hormonal and gut health through a combination of lifestyle changes and supplementation.
But beneath every symptom — mine and theirs — I saw the same truth reflected back: the work was never about the food or fitness alone. It was about what was buried beneath.
So I followed the spiral home. Through professional trainings in Compassionate Inquiry™ (a psychotherapeutic approach), Spinal Energetics™ (Level 1 and Level 2), and somatic trauma-informed coaching, I came home — to my Self and my soma — radically reclaiming my sensitivity as a blessing, not a burden: now my system feels safe to hold it.
Today, I have the honour of guiding women through the very same spiral — softening survival strategies and symptoms to come home to themselves — through my foundational frameworks, including but not limited to the Spiral Staircase and the Embodiment Equation, all woven within our work.
